RPG's (Role Playing Games)

Ya know those pen and paper games. The ones that TSR started with Dungeons and Dragons.

Well me and my wife have played a few and I have decided to share the ones we like:

Earthdawn - originally published by Fasa. But since Fasa went bye bye it is now being published by Living Room Games (LRG). This is a my tied for first favorite RPG. This is set in earths 4th age. An age is defined by being magic or science (our earth is the 5th age which is science). The game is after the races have emerged after the horrors (which fed on sentient suffering) have left the plane of earth.

Shadowrun - also originally published by Fasa. Now being published by Studio 2 Publishing. This game takes place in the 6th age of earth (the magic has reawakened but technology has not been lost). Originally Earthdawn and Shadowrun could be tied together since they where by the same company. So a campaign in one could feasibly have a session in the others world. Shadowrun is a futuristic game where the corps rule all.

Cyberpunk - published by R. Talsorian Games. This is the other first place one. This one takes place in the dark future like Shadowrun, except no magic. Corps are a power house to be reckoned with and EVERYBODY goes armed (if ya don't ya could very well be a victim). Also getting cyber enhancements (hence the cyber in the title) is a very large factor.

Those are the three major games I have played and the three I would like to play again. Other games I have played are: Star Wars (well attempted to play as it was played online thru GamersOasis in a sorta turned based not seeing each other style). AD&D (only played 2 sessions after getting the chars set up). DC Comics (cant find a website. But basically you are a super hero (an original not one of the existing ones) in the DC universe. Got chars made but that was it).
